Some of the best iPhone apps

1. I would probably have Siri right here, just because you can talk to her like she is a normal person. Plus she is pretty funny.
1 (aside from Siri). iFunny.

iFunny is an app that connects a community together through motivational pictures and other random funny pictures. Every Picture on this app is user submitted, where other users get the option to either like or dislike each picture. Pictures that reach a certain amount of likes in a given time period, are put on the Featured list. Judging by the amount of people that use this app at my high school, I'm guessing that most high schools have a good number of students that use this app.
There are 3 different sections for iFunny; the Featured list, which shows up with notifications, the popular list, and the collective list. The Featured list is the list that is very hard to get pictures into. It takes around 5-10 thousand likes just to make it to the featured list. The second list, popular, is the pictures that don't have enough likes to make it into the featured list yet, but they are funny, unlike most of the pictures in the collective list. The collective list is all of the newly added user content. Most of this content is pictures that aren't funny, and that try to get the user to go to a website or download and app.
iFunny is a must have app for any iPhone user. It always gives me a good laugh to look through the 80 new featured pictures of the day. The only thing iFunny is criticized for is the pictures of good looking women in underwear that sometimes show up in the featured list, just because a bunch of guys go and like the pictures (duhh. guys will be guys).

2. Temple Run

Where can I begin? This game is amazing. I have spent hours of time in class running in illogical circles. This game and iFunny are probably the 2 best apps available for the iPhone (aside from Siri of course..). There is really no storyline for this app. All you know is that for some reason a man, which you can change characters, is in a temple and there are a bunch of weird looking monkeys chasing after him. The only point of this game is to get a high score by collecting coins and using them to get a higher multiplier. There are 6 unlock able characters to choose from.
One thing that makes this game unique is that you can make 6 right turns back to back and never run into the same wall, while you don't go under a wall or over a wall or anything. It is totally illogical, but that adds to the fun of the game.
The only thing that I do not like about this game is the fact that the game will sometimes put obstacles that will kill you no matter what in your way. For example, the game will tell you to jump off of a wall onto a new surface, but on that surface there will be a fire that is no way avoidable because you are already in the air.
I would highly recommend this app, along with iFunny to any person who owns an iPhone. Me and my friends at school play this game alllll the time.

3. Fruit Ninja

I'm pretty sure almost everyone has heard of fruit ninja. Who wouldn't want to sit there for an hour slicing fruit? If I had just gotten this game, I would probably rate it higher, but after a while this game just becomes a cool looking emblem on your iPhone. That and it is pretty popular with friends who don't play it much.
There isn't really much I can say more about this app. You cut fruit and unlock new blades. That is all it is.. I spent about 4 hours playing it and after that I didn't play it again.

4. ChaCha

ChaCha is a corporation that answers any questions for free. I have no idea how they have the money to do it, but they do. The only reason I am putting this app in my top 5 app picks is because of the ease that it brings you when you want to know something, anything..
It doesn't matter what you want to know. Chacha answers anything from the average penis size (I didn't ask it, my girlfriend did) to the square root of 2. You can actually get a job working as one of the people that answers the billions of questions that are sent in a day, and I'm pretty sure the pay is good.

5. Big Button Box Pro

This app is in my top 5 app picks just because of how funny some of the buttons are. My cousin came over one night and we sat there for hours playing with all of the buttons. One of my favorite buttons is the shut up button. Every time you press it, it says shut up in a stern, energetic voice. It is very useful when you want to shut someone up or piss someone off. You just press the button every time they begin to say something.
I think this app is definitely worth the $1 that you have to spend to get it. You will probably get more laughs out of this than any other funny app on the market that costs $1.

That concludes my top 5 app picks. If you don't like them and you think there should be others, or you want to make some suggestions to me, feel free to comment on this blog. I check it daily. This is just my opinion and I surely haven't downloaded all of the hundreds of thousands of apps that iTunes has to offer.
